Meet at the Bus Shelter at the corner of Briardale Ter/Rd, or the Shady Grove Woods’ Playground Square, at 17100 Briardale Rd.
Gloves, Bags, Grabbers are provided.
More about event: Join your neighbors and Montgomery County’s Dept of Environmental Protection for a litter removal restoration event in Derwood, benefiting the Upper Rock Creek Watershed, local Mill Creek and the surrounding land and Common Grounds area. Trash is the visible form of stormwater pollution, a major threat to water quality and land health and its removal makes parklands and our community cleaner, safer, and more beautiful for all. This event is part of the Annual Litter Cleanup – a month-long push to remove litter throughout the local community and the Upper Rock Creek watershed!
