After public discussion at the latest RSHA board meeting, the Board of Directors has voted to begin the repaving process of Sections 2 and 4 using monies collected as a part of the Reserve Dues budget.
On the week of May 15th 2023, Tibbs Paving will be replacing damaged curbs and milling/repaving the parking lots of Section 2 (odd homes on Briardale Terrace 7801 thru 7851) and Section 4 (even homes on Briardale Terrace 7800 thru 7828). As a result, the lots will be closed for residents during the construction.
Key Dates and Times:
- May 15th @ 7am to 7pm: DO NOT PARK in spots marked for curb repair. Currently, this is only the reserved spot for 7801.
- May 15th @ 7am through May 19th @ 7pm: DO NOT PARK in the first 7 unreserved parking spaces on the far-side of Section 2. They must be clear to allow for staging of equipment and materials.
- May 18 @ 7am through May 19th @ 7pm: DO NOT PARK in ANY Section 2 and 4 Lot! Starting 7am on May 18th, through the end of construction, all parking in Section 2 and 4 must be clear and all vehicles must be relocated to other lots/Briardale Rd.
- Construction is expected to be complete around 7pm on May 19th.
Towing Information: RSHA will work with a towing company to relocate vehicles blocking construction zones starting at 7am on May 18th unless noted above. Owners will be responsible for any damage to vehicles or belongings as a result of not moving their vehicles prior to construction and may be charged towing and storage fees by the towing company.
Temporary Zones:
- Parking: Please relocate your vehicle(s) to either other unreserved spots throughout the RSHA community or to any legal street parking on Briardale Road. NO PARKING is to occur on the hill of Briardale Terrace.
- Loading: RSHA will mark areas that vehicles can use to temporarily unload their vehicles closer to their homes along Briardale Terrace. There is a strict 15 minute limit on the use of these spaces to ensure no delays for construction.
